Airport Transfers to our Depot:

We can pick you up from the Christchurch airport for a small charge of $15 in normal working hours. Transfers from Nelson airport and other locations free. Please advise us of your flight details.

Airport Transfers From our Depot

Vehicles must be dropped off at our Depot unless otherwise arranged. After hours drop-off is available. We are most happy to drop you back to your accommodation or the airport during normal working hours free of charge.

Airport Vehicle Pick up

You are able to pick the vehicle up from the airport, there will be a charge of $40 to do this. Please advise if you prefer to take this offer.

Airport Vehicle Drop off

Vehicles can be left at the Airport however there is a $40 fee to do this. Please advise if you prefer to take this offer.

Vehicle Details and Age:

All vehicles, range in age from the mid/late 90's though to 2005. (The same type of vehicles that all other good 2nd tier rental operators use.) Backpacker vehicles are mostly an older basic vehicle, but still well maintained. Further details are available on our Web Site or by visiting our FAQ page.

Insurance Details: Insurance is "Free" and included in the quote. An excess will apply if you have a accident which is deemed to be your fault: In most cases $1250 for cars and $1500 for S/W-Coaches. Our excess is very low unlike many other rental companies whose insurance excess are up to $2000-$2500. We do not push on you costly excess reduction insurance which inflates the quoted hire price however further excess reduction off our low rate is available: Hires over 6 days reduce the excess to $600 for cars ($800 S/W-Coach) for $10 a day. Or to reduce the excess to $250 for cars ($350 S/W-Coach) for $15 a day.
